The Air Jordan 6 is in my top 5 favorite retro models. Being a Bulls fan, this particular color way is one of my favorites as well. When it comes to retros, being a Bulls fan is always nice. A lot of the best color ways or OG color ways will always be the classic red, black and white. If you're new to sneakers or maybe just not sure if you want to take your relationship with them to the next level (LOL), here's a quick tip that'll get you ahead of some posers. Color ways differ from shoe to shoe, and here's what I mean by that. For example: one of the most common mistakes by sneaker observers is to call the retro 11 model the "concords". This is a mistake simply because the "concords" are a popular color way of the retro 11. People then go on to say, "Hey, did you see those red concords?". Wrong, wrong, wrong. In this instance they are trying to say they saw the "Bred" retro 11s which are black and red hence the combination (black+red= bred), but instead they over-generalize and call all 11s the concords. I hope that helps some of you if you're new to the shoe game. Anyways, let's get back to what matters most, the shoes. The Air Jordan retro VI is a very pivotal shoe in the Jordan legacy. It was worn when Michael Jordan won his second league MVP, the league scoring title, and defeated the Lakers in the 1992 Finals. It is one of the original color ways and it was released in 1992. The carmine 6s feature a white upper with "carmine" red inserts hence their name. The retro 6 model also features the lace locks of the retro 5 and the Carmine is no different. The Carmine 6 also offers a black tongue with two holes and a heel tab that allows for the shoe to be put on and taken off very easily. The outsole is white, so if you have a pair do your best to keep them icy. The Carmines recently retro'd on the 24th of May which is when I copped my pair. They retailed at $170.00 and it was an easy decision to scoop them for me. Let me know what your favorite color way of the retro 6 is in a comment. Sport Blue season is coming up and it looks like the 6s are going to be a part of it! I'm excited to look forward to an article about that towards the end of July!
